Postdoctoral Research Associate
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellow position at Emory University in the area of Quantitative Systems Biology with a focus on single cell microbiology. The successful candidate will employ advanced biophysical and in vivo microanalytical techniques (e.g., microfluidics / spectroscopy / fluorescence microscopy, etc,), to characterize key elements in cellular processes that contribute to phenotypic variation of individual cells including, but not limited to genetic regulatory circuits. Experience in microbiology and/or any of the research areas indicated above is desired. Interest in mathematical modeling is preferred, but not required. The Quantitative Systems Biology Laboratory is highly multidisciplinary and the successful candidate will work at the intersection of physics, microbiology, synthetic biology, and theoretical biology.
This position will start in February 2013. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
Please send a CV, a brief description of your research experiences and a list of three references to Prof. Minsu Kim at firstname.lastname@example.org.
