Here we announce our KAIST Global Forum for Spin and Beyond”.

This is the online seminar series organized by KAIST faculty members with the aim to offer a place for the discussion about the recent progress in spin-related phenomena from fundamental to device applications. Experts on various subfields of spin physics and spintronics will be invited to give a talk. The seminar will be held every two weeks and the participants will have an opportunity to interact with the speakers as well as the other participants.

The information for the first talk is given below.

1.     Speaker: Mark D. Stiles (NIST, USA)

2.     Title: Using magnetic tunnel junctions to compute like the brain

3.     Venue: Zoom webinar

4.     Data/Time: 8/17 8pm

5.   Registration is required. For registration, please send the following information to KAISTspinforum@gmail.com. (due: 8/13) There is no registration fee.

- The title of talk that you want to attend (for first talk, the tile is “Using magnetic tunnel junctions to compute like the brain”)
