2023 봄학기 일반물리Ⅰ 학점인정시험

 

(봄학기에는 일반물리Ⅱ 학점인정시험은 없음.

마찬가지로, 가을학기에는 일반물리Ⅰ 학점인정시험이 없고 일반물리Ⅱ 학점인정시험만 있음.)

 

 

 

대상: 학점인정 시험을 신청한 재학생 및 2023년도 봄학기 신입생 중 희망자

(단, 재수강생 불가)

 

 

신청 방법 (2023년도 봄학기 신입생은, 아래 과정 중 3번만 하시면 됩니다):

 1. 학적팀에 학점인정시험 신청 서류 제출.

 2. 1에 제출한 서류의 사본을, 물리학과 (E6-2 건물) 과사무실에 제출.

 3. 1~2를 모두 완료한 후, 조교장에게 e-mail로 1~2의 과정을 거쳐서 학점인정시험을 정상적으로 신청했다고 연락. (wonwoonjae@kaist.ac.kr)

2023년도 봄학기 신입생의 경우, 조교장에게 메일로 응시 의사를 밝힘.

위 과정을 2/28(화) 17:30까지 제대로 거치지 않은 학생은, 추후 시험을 응시하여도 학점인정이 되지 않을 가능성이 높음.

 

 ※ 학점인정시험 종료 후 불합격 학생의 학점인정시험과목에 대한 추가 수강신청은 불가함.

(합격여부와 관계 없이, 이번 학기에 해당과목의 이수가 필요할 경우 반드시 수강신청해야함.)

 

 

수험료: (2023년도 봄학기 신입생) 무료, (그 외 재학생) 20,000 원

 

 

시험 시간 : 2023년 2월 28일(화) 19:00 ~ 21:00 (총 2시간)

 

 

시험 장소 : 창의학습관(E11) 310호 → 304호, 응시 인원이 많을 경우 KLMS에 추후 재공지

 

 

시험 범위 : [1] Newtonian mechanics [2] Wave& Fluid mechanics [3] Thermodynamics 주제의 일반물리교재 수준 

 

 

통과조건 및 참고사항

 - 시험 성적은 시험 후 72시간 내로 개별 통지

 - 시험을 통과한 학생들은 성적에 따라 B학점 이상 (A+~B-)의 학점을 받을 수 있음

 - 시험을 통과한 학생들 중 학점인정을 희망하는 경우에 한하여 일반물리학Ⅰ (PH141) 과목을 수강한 것으로 인정함

 - (1) 시험을 통과하지 못하였거나 (2) 시험을 통과하였더라도 학점인정을 희망하지 않는 경우, 시험성적이 남지 않으며, '일반물리Ⅰ', '고급물리Ⅰ', '실험 중심의 체감형 일반물리학Ⅰ'중 한 과목을 수강할 수 있음 

 

 

시험 시 주의사항

1. 시험 장소에 학생증(ID card)을 반드시 들고 올 것.

2. 답안은 배부된 답안지에 작성해야만 하며, 국문/영문 작성 모두 가능. 단, 붉은색 계통의 펜을 사용하여 답안을 적지 말 것.

3. 필기구와 학생증을 제외한 모든 물건은 전원을 끈 상태로 가방 안에 집어넣을 것.

4. 이름, 학번, 분반, 시험 장소를 답안지 상단에 정자로 기입할 것.

5. 조기 퇴실 및 화장실 사용은 시험 시작 30분 이후 (저녁 7시 반 이후)부터 가능하며, 이 이후에는 입실 절대 불가.

6. 조교에게 요청을 하고 싶은 경우 (ex: 화장실 사용, 질문),  조용히 손만 들 것. 단, 시험 끝나기 20분 전(20:40) 이후에는 불가.

7. 부정행위 금지. 적발될 경우 즉시 시험 장소에서 퇴출하며, 퇴학까지 당할 수 있음.

2023 Spring Semester Course Waiver Exam for General Physics 1 (PH141)

 

(We do not have General Physics II wavier exam in the spring semester.

Similarly, there is no General Physics I wavier exam in the fall semester.

Only General Physics II wavier exam is held.)

 

 

 

For who: Students who applied for the waiver exam, and only 2023 spring semester freshman who want to take this exam

(Students re-taking this course cannot apply for the waiver exam)

 

 

How to Apply (If you are 2023 spring semester freshmen, you only need to complete process 3) : 

1. Submit the application form and exam fee transfer confirmation or recipt to the Academic Registrar's Team.

2. Submit a copy of the documents submitted in step 1 to the office of Department of Physics. (1st floor in Building E6-2)

3. After completing steps 1 and 2, notify it to head TA via e-mail (wonwoonjae@kaist.ac.kr) that you has successfully applied for the course wavier exam after going through steps 1 and 2. 

For 2023 spring semester freshmen, just send a e-mail to head TA only if you want to take wavier exam.

If you do not complete all of above steps until 2/28(Tue) 17:30, it will be high possibility that your score and grade will be ignored even if you take wavier exam. 

 

 ※ If you fail to pass the waiver exam, it is not possible to register for the course you applied for the waiver exam.

(If you need to take the course in 2023 spring semester, you must register for it regardless of the waiver exam result.)

 

 

Fee: KRW 20,000 (20,000 won(\))

(For 2023 spring semester freshmen, there is no fee)

Criteria and other notices: 

 - I will notice the results of exam by e-mail within 72 hours. 

 - For students who passed exam, grade(from B- to A+) will be given based on your score.

 - Students who will be passed the exam will be recognized as having taken PH141 only if you want to receive credits.

 - If (1) you failed wavier exam or (2) you don’t desire to take the grade(B- to A+), you may take General Physics 1 (PH141) or Advanced Physics 1 (PH161) or Experiment-Oriented General Physics 1 (PH171).

 

 

Notification and precaution for the exam

1. Please bring your own ID card on the exam day.

2. Please write your answer on the answer sheet, and do not use red pen when you write your answer.

3. Leave only writing supplies(pen, eraser) and ID card on your desk. Put other things in your bag. Also, turn off your cellular phone.

4. Write your name, ID number, section, and exam place on your all answer sheet CLEARLY.

5. Using toilet and finishing exam are allowed after PM 7:30. Also, you cannot enter the exam place after PM 7:30.

6. If you want to make a request to TAs (ex: toilet, question), raise your hand quietly. However, it is not possible after PM 8:40.

 

7. DO NOT CHEAT ON AN EXAM. If you cheat on an exam, you may be expelled from exam place.
