Abstract:

Recent advances in quantum materials enable us to generate and control photonic and spin qubits in solid-state

quantum systems. However, environmental noises such as phonon interaction and charge fluctuations inevitably

induce linewidth broadening and spectral jitter of the spectrum. So far, there have been lots of efforts for improving

crystal quality and minimizing environmental interactions. However, introducing such techniques is often sacrifices

the advantage of a solid-state quantum system, so it requires sub-1k low temperature as superconducting platforms and highly precise resonant laser systems as atomic systema. Here, we introduce the opposite approach based on

poor crystal quality materials and high-power non-resonant lasers that spatially and temporally separate the phonon and charge noises. Our approach does not sacrifice the advantage of the solid-state quantum system and can be

simply adapted to various quantum emitters, and therefore, it paves a new way for exploring solid-state quantum

systems.
