Quantum field theory and string theory Group 

Research Interest

Broadly speaking, we study non-perturbative aspects of quantum field theory and string theory and their relations to mathematics including: 

• Strongly-coupled quantum field theories that may not have a Lagrangian description

• Supersymmetric field theories in various dimensions and their relations to string theory

• Understanding quantum gravity via AdS/CFT correspondence

• Geometric and algebraic aspects of supersymmetric field theoriesConformal bootstrap program
