Title: Quasiperiodic Effects in Quasicrystals
 
Abstract: 

 

In this seminar, I will discuss how quasiperiodicity can alter established phenomena in solid state physics. I will focus on phase transitions and demonstrate that aperiodicity may introduce new scaling laws in quasicrystals. Finally, I will explore extrinsic quasicrystals and the significance of quasiperiodicity in these systems.
