Topic: Detecting Hidden Photon Dark Matter via the Excitation of Qubits
Abstract:
I propose a new method of dark-matter search using transmon qubits. In the case of hidden-photon dark matter, its oscillation induces an effective electric field which becomes the driving force to excite the qubit. I will explain how the excitation rate of the qubit is calculated and discuss the detection method of the hidden-photon dark matter. I will show that the search of our proposal has good sensitivity and that it can probe parameter region which has not been explored yet.
