Title: Minimal Production of Prompt Gravitational Waves during Reheating.

Abstract:
In this talk, we discuss an unavoidable gravitational wave production mechanism in any of the standard inflationary models. The mechanism is based on the inflaton condensate annihilation. The process occurs after the end of inflation with the inflation oscillation around a minimum of the potential and continues until reheating ends. We discuss how we compute the graviton production rate and spectrum, and what information of the early universe physics we may infer from the spectrum resulting from the mechanism.
