We would like to inform you of amendments to the Curriculum Management Guidelines about application period of Credit Recognition for Mutually Recognized Courses/Honor Program as follows.

2. Credit Recognition Guide for Mutually Recognized Courses/Honor Program

(Article 34 of the Curriculum Management Guidelines)

ㅇ If an undergraduate student completes a mutually recognized course in the graduate program(courses in the 500’s) or a Honor Student takes the course of graduate curriculum, the credit may be recognized for either the undergraduate or graduate curriculum. With the exception being if the student needs this credit to satisfy minimal graduation requirements, the credit will not be mutually recognized(except Honor Student).

- The undergraduate student must request credit recognition until the end date of the final enrolled semester for master course for the credits earned (only for mutually recognized courses in the graduate program) during their undergraduate career.

- The earned course credits through the Honor Program in undergraduate program can be counted as the course credits of Master’s Degree Program by applying for recognizing the credits until the end date of the final enrolled semester for master course. However, it is only if the total GPA for undergraduate graduation is 3.7 or above.

ㅇ Application Period: Until the end date of the final enrolled semester for master course

(※ MS and PhD Integrated course(Master) students : Within the second enrolled semester(before entering PhD course))

ㅇ Procedure: Student personally applies→ recommendation from the advising professor and the course professor, and approval by the department head→ submit to the Academic Registrars Team → approval of credit recognition.
