Dirac fermions in condensed matters

In this talk, I am going to review the recent progress in the study of Dirac fermions in condensed matter physics.
First, I am going to explain how Dirac fermions can appear in solids by considering band crossing condition in general.
Here I will explain the basic idea of how to classify new Dirac-type fermionic excitations.
After that, the topological properties and electron correlation effect in Dirac materials will be discussed.
